Scope of Services

The City of Princeton Public Works Department is seeking sealed bids for the 2024 Street Paving Project. The project is estimated to require approximately 355 tons of asphalt for seven various street locations throughout the City. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “2024 STREET PAVING PROJECT BID” on the outside. Bids will be accepted from August 27th, 2024 through September 10th, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Princeton Municipal Building, 800 Bee Street, Princeton, WV 24740 and opened at 2:01 p.m.

Detailed specifications will be available at Princeton City Hall, 800 Bee Street, from August 27th until the day of the bid opening. The bid packages will include the specifications, area and work descriptions, and the bid form to be utilized by the bidding contractors. The bid packages can be emailed from [email protected] or [email protected] upon request. Any questions concerning the bid specifications should be directed to Jackie Phillips, Public Works Director or Terry Blankenship, Public Works Field and Safety Supervisor, 800 Bee Street, Princeton, WV 24740, telephone 304-487-5035. The Princeton City Council reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, waive any informality in the bidding process and accept the bid that is in the best interests of the City of Princeton.
