Purpose & Function
The Princeton Public Library strives to serve the communities of Princeton and the surrounding areas' informational and educational needs, as well as cultural interests in order to enrich the lives of our patrons. The library hosts a variety of free monthly programs and events for all ages such as story-times, crafts, STEM programs, and guest speakers. Our collection ranges from books of all topics, to DVD's and video games, to sports equipment and hobby kits. We also provide access to eBooks, public computers, electronic magnifier, newspapers, magazines, and comics. The IDEA Lab, our makerspace, focuses on bringing STEAM into the community by housing 3D printers, kinetic sand, LEGO's, button makers, and a sticker maker. We provide free 3D printing lessons to those interested in learning the hobby. Free internet and computer access is available to the community. We provide copy making, printing, faxing, Notary Public, and lamination services for a small fee.
