Mission Statement

The mission of the Princeton Railroad Museum is to serve the community of Princeton and surrounding areas by providing public access to the historical context of the railroad, and to show how the railroad built the City.

Purpose & Function

The Princeton Railroad Museum catalogs and displays the history of the railroad's interaction with the City of Princeton.

Department Services

The Princeton Railroad Museum features exhibits of railroad artifacts, artwork, books, and photographs. Please stop by, and learn the history of how the railroad helped to build Princeton, or take a tour of our restored #308 Virginian Railroad caboose.

There are plenty of things for the whole family, such as building a custom railroad track, puzzles, and books.

We welcome field trip groups from schools, scout groups, 4H, and more! Just give us a call ahead of time.

Take a souvenir home from our gift shop.

The Railroad Museum has free admission but welcomes donations.
