The success of the 2025 Color Rush 5K Fun Walk/Run has already led to plans being made for next year’s event! A total of $2,000 was raised for the Mercer County Furever Fixed Spay/Neuter Clinic! The Mercer County Animal Shelter was ecstatic that one of the dogs they brought to the park found a loving home! We couldn’t have done it without the 60-plus registered participants, the volunteers, and the sponsors. Thank you to the volunteers from the Chuck Mathena Center, City of Princeton, Rotary Club of Princeton, WV, and Princeton Community Hospital. Thank you to the event sponsors! Princeton Community Hospital and the Mercer County Office of Emergency Management/ Floodplain Development provided water for the hydration stations, and Level 33 Physical Therapy provided post-race recovery services. See you next year at the 2026 City of Princeton 2nd Annual Color Rush!
Please join us for an evening of music in Princeton City Park on the first four Thursdays of each month (May-September). Music starts at 6:30 p.m. and admission is free. Follow Music in the Park - Princeton WV for up-to-date information and upcoming concerts. Bleacher seating is limited, so you may want to bring a chair or blanket.
